It is pretty frustrating when you go to jump near a ledge and because the game finished the jump animation in the air it ends up eating the air jump. The replay will even show the jump still happening mostly on stage, but because the “Jump” part was in the air it instantly becomes an air jump, wasting that as an option.

Coyote frames would indeed be nice especially since you can’t short hop a double jump making spacing slightly harder how it is now
