This is simply not the case.
The Tipper range is absurd, which makes if far too lenient to get Tippers, while her frame data and move speed allow her to spam her moves continuously. The ridiculous amount of time you are in hitstun eliminates all need to actually know which way your attacks will launch since Clairen has multiple seconds to react.
Adding to that are some moves that she simply should not have. Her Dash Attack reaches forward, above her and even somewhat behind her?! The Nair has multiple hits, the last of which can actually just randomly kill you and semi-kill % for no reason at all, easily the dumbest single move in her kit for not needing any kind precision.
Finally, the worst offender of all: The 50/50 throw. You just … always get an FSmash after. Which also happens to be the, by far, easiest Tipper possible due to the angle F/B-Throw launch you at.
And still, all this would be OK if she at least had some sort of weakness in the form of, say, a bad, or at least average, recovery. But no. She has an invinciblility-granting side-special, combined with an Up-Special that is so blatently overloaded I can’t fathom how this is not discussed more. Not only does it cross absolutely absurd distance horizontally, she can also decide to overshoot the ledge and then mix up her landing during freefall because of her high fall speed and manuverability in the air. Recovery from Up-Special is basically non-existent. She can also mix-up whether she uses Up-Special 2 after the first. By the time you realizes she hasn’t, she’s actionable again or dropped to the ledge.
She needs a weakness somewhere.

as a clairen hater i agree i think her moves are really good i think the counterplay lies in her recovery thou i think parry is a way to punish here but im still playing around with it
As an avid clairen hater i agree. Why in the world is a character with a projectile killing field, disjoint, and tied for 2nd fastest in the game allowed to just be so dang spammy and rewarded so heavily for no percision. And why does her kill moves reward her for bad spacing as well?
