Allow a randomized stage pick for Matchmaking#39

No reason not to have the option. The only choice and default is stage banning for casual/matchmaking, and an option to just gentleman’s to random when you have a match for matches would be cool to speed up the grind.

agreed! i’m sure this is something they have planned, just didn’t do in time for launch though. in rivals one you could ban and pick at random, so its definitely odd its not in rivals 2 yet.

This would be my biggest feedback right now too. Randomly banning stages gives you experience playing different stages which is valuable.

I really don’t care about banning stages in unranked, I just wanna always play a random stage, so I would appreciate an option like this.

It could be either a random button that both player can vote and if they do, it picks a random stage or just the random button that will either randomly ban or randomly pick based on the context

In today’s hotfix, we changed the logic for casual modes:

• Casual 1v1 is a random first stage and then the loser picks the next stage each game
• Casual FFA is a random stage every time
